ABOUT Mike Reeves
Mike Reeves is a professional broadcaster who has worked in Radio for more than 3 decades, and since 2009, has been a talk radio host on news talk radio stations in Florida.
Since 2011, he has been the morning host of, “The Nature Coast Morning News with Mike Reeves”, on 99.9 WXJB FM, in the Tampa Bay area.
Prior to making the switch to all talk,Mike worked in Music Radio, as a Solo Host from 3 to 7 pm, on Tampa Florida Radio Stations Mix 96, in the 90’s, and Q105, from 2006 to 2008.
From 1999 to 2006, he was the co host of the Nancy and Mike Morning Show on MIX 100.7, in Tampa.
EARLY YEARS
From 1979 to 1990, Mike was the award winning imaging Director for Q105, Tampa, which, during the 1980s was voted (by radio station general managers) the “Decades Most Admired Radio Station”
He also hosted, for 7 years, from 2001-2008, “Dining Out With MIke Reeves” on Bay News 9 in the Tampa Bay Area.
He is a graduate of the University of Florida’s prestigious school of Journalism and Communications, where he also taught broadcast writing for radio and television.
Mike’s current radio show is almost one of a kind. While the stations line up following the morning show consists of conservative firebrands, Brian Kilmeade, Clay and Buck, Sean Hannity, and Mark Levin, Mike Reeves, does not carry water for the Republican party and his show is not a place where conservative politicians can simply spew the days talking points.
The cliche that best describes Mikes sometimes, contentious interview style, is, ‘you are entitled to your own opinion, but not your own facts.”
The Mike Reeves Podcast, consists of interviews recorded specifically for the podcast, with todays top Florida Newsmakers, Politicians and Elected Government officials, along with the most compelling and topical segments from recent radio shows.
